FIFA 16 - Compete at a Higher Level
For FIFA 16, we are including new and different ways to help fans achieve every level of success. This year, we’re going to make you a better player. If you are new to EA SPORTS FIFA, we want to get you in the game. If you are a veteran player, we want to make this season your best ever.

A new in-game trainer in FIFA 16 will give you contextual feedback on how to send better crosses, score more goals, and defend with confidence.

Regardless if you are starting up FIFA for the very first time or have been playing since Day One, there are always ways to improve your FIFA skills and defeat your opposition. With FIFA Trainer, our aim is to help improve players in-game rather than relying on out of game video tutorials.

In FIFA 16, we’re introducing an optional graphical overlay (Heads-Up-Display) that helps to identify the current game situation and offer varying options based on the Trainer level. From basic commands that will help get you on your feet to deeper hints that can help shift the tide of the match in your favor, the FIFA trainer is like having an expert by your side while you play.

SKILL GAMES: BASIC LEVEL
For the last few years, our Skills Games have not only made it possible to learn some of the finer aspects to the FIFA series, they have also created competition between friends as they vie for the highest possible score. For FIFA 16, we’re introducing a new Basic Level aimed at assisting first time FIFA players. While seasoned FIFA fans will breeze through these new challenges, the aim is to ensure that FIFA 16 is the most accessible iteration in the franchise.
FIFA 16 - Control in Midfield
Games are won and lost in the midfield - and in FIFA 16, the midfield matters. Two new gameplay innovations will give your midfield the control necessary to dominate a match.

INTERCEPTION INTELLIGENCE
Smarter teammates means a better product on the pitch. New interception logic helps your AI players better anticipate passes and move to shut down options. This will affect both the attack and defense. When your team is in possession of the ball, players will react faster and find space to create passing opportunities. In defence, players help to cover open spaces and look to avoid being caught out of position.

Midfield play will also alter the pace of a match and create a more considered and authentic experience. Teams will find and look to take advantage of open spaces, letting you build a strong attack through the middle of the pitch.

Interception Intelligence can be adjusted in Player Instructions so you can control how aggressive your players are on the ball. You are in complete control of build-up play in midfield.

PASSING WITH PURPOSE
FIFA 16 introduces a new passing mechanic that will allow players to make sharp, incisive passes that find teammates with precision. Using a new button mechanic, ping driven ground passes to find teammates in tight spaces and open up your attacking options. Passing with Purpose balances Interception Intelligence to create a real football experience of risk/reward when moving the ball.
FIFA 16 - No Touch Dribbling
What is No Touch Dribbling?

No Touch Dribbling is our new dribble control system that gives players the freedom to decide how and when to touch the ball. By separating and creating space between the player and the ball, you will be able to perform different skill moves, feints, or even change direction without actually applying contact to the ball.

How to initiate and use No Touch Dribbling in FIFA 16.

To trigger No Touch Dribbling, simply press and hold the L1/LB button on your controller. Once pressed, the player with possession of the ball will momentarily step away from it to create a bit of space. From there, by flicking the left analog in different angles, the player in possession of the ball will either shift his body in that particular direction or twist his ankle in the hopes of tricking the defender. If timed correctly, it can easily misdirect the defender into going one way while the player with the ball goes the other.

More complex moves can be performed by additionally pressing and holding the R2/RT button. In these situations, the player with the ball will take larger strides away from it. Although there is a risk when attempting these, if pulled off correctly they can absolutely embarrass a defender.
Which players can perform No Touch Dribbling?

In FIFA 16, every player on the pitch can perform the no touch dribble. However, based on the player's dribbling rating and skill move star rating, it will be more or less effective. Meaning players like Lionel Messi or Juan Cuadrado will be able to pull off moves that other players may not. When playing FIFA 16 for the first time, make sure to spend a few minutes in the practice area to get familiar with No Touch Dribbling.

Parceria com Real Madrid
"Today, we are proud to announce a three-year partnership agreement with Real Madrid C.F. to become their exclusive and official videogame partner.

This is a two-way partnership. FIFA 16 will include updated 3D head scans of 14 of Real Madrid’s most popular players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema. Coming later in the year, members of the club will take part in a FIFA 16 player tournament for bragging rights.

Click here to see the updated Real Madrid facial scans.

During home matches at the famed Santiago Bernabéu, player celebrations rendered with EA SPORTS FIFA will appear on the stadium big screen following home team goals. Fans who visit the stadium will be able to experience FIFA 16 in a new experimental area. Additionally, fans can expect to see other EA SPORTS content in the stadium and on Real Madrid’s digital channels over the course of the season.

Real Madrid is just another in a series of EA SPORTS partner clubs. The list includes some of the biggest clubs from Spain’s La Liga, the Barclays Premier League, Ligue 1 in France and many more."

O porquê da inclusão do estádio Fratton Park
Simon Humber, Creative Director of the FIFA series, passed away earlier this year after a fight with cancer. Simon was a huge fan of Portsmouth FC and in tribute to him the FIFA team have included Fratton Park stadium in FIFA 16.

“When you make video games, you spend a great deal of time with people, and shipping an annual title makes a team very close. I worked with Simon daily for seven years, and feel like I – and the team – lost a family member. In terms of his legacy within FIFA, he was the daddy of Ultimate Team, and played a big role in career mode – many of the features coming this year were ones he was leading development on.” - David Rutter, VP and GM, EA SPORTS FIFA, speaking to The Guardian earlier this year.
As development for FIFA 16 was hitting its stride, the team at EA Canada started working with Portsmouth FC to include Fratton Park as a tribute to Simon. From visiting the site to interacting with ground staff, the aim was to make sure that the 117-year-old stadium was authentically replicated in the game.

"Simon was well-known among Pompey fans, his love of life, humorous and caring character ensured he was loved by all who met him. His passion for Pompey, the FIFA game and football in general, was infectious and as such he leaves a legacy of having made a hugely positive impact across all three. Everyone at Pompey is honoured that Fratton Park will appear in FIFA 16 and I know Simon would be ever so proud to see his club featured in this way. He would no doubt hope that it helps spread the word about his beloved club."-Ashley Brown, Director at PFC, on the Pompey Supporters' Trust board

During his time at Electronic Arts Simon worked on a number of games, including serving as Lead Producer on 2010 FIFA World Cup and Creative Director on the more recent FIFA releases.

“On FIFA, Simon was the man behind some of my favourite features with Alan McInally commentary topping that list. I had the pleasure of working on lots of features with him, spending hours creating and analysing Excel spreadsheets that would be the foundation for intricate implementations.” - Adam Bell, Software Engineer, EA SPORTS FIFA
Simon was also deeply involved and connected to the FIFA community, regularly participating with fans on forums and by email.

"It was probably that remarkable ability to think outside the box, which then led to Simon presiding over what is perhaps the greatest FIFA game of all time: 2010 FIFA World Cup. Simon was Lead Producer on that game, and once again community feedback was at the heart of his time in charge. If you were on the FIFA scene at the time, I’m sure you’ll remember just how active Simon was on the forums, replying, challenging, and destroying stupid suggestions with great regularity. But as well as that, he was watching and listening intently too. And it was his keen ear to the ground which led to a raft of kit, flag, and general accuracy changes after the game had shipped. It didn’t matter how small EA's mistake was, he knew that in a game shaped around national allegiance it made a big difference to someone. And that’s something I think Simon really understood about the FIFA community, and it showed." - David Bryant, Futhead.
In addition to including Fratton Park in the stadium, there will also be a subtle tribute to Simon inside the stadium. When playing FIFA 16, if you look towards the goalmouth you will notice a 'wreath of flowers' laid to honour Simon, just as the club and its supporters did in an incredible gesture earlier in May.
Em breve com a Gamescon deverão surgir mais novidades!

Every player will match leagues with FUT Legends, meaning they will have an orange link with all players. Now you only need to pair Nationality between a player and a Legend to create the strong green link on the pitch. So, if you are building a squad with all new Legend Deco, he’ll have a medium connection with Oscar but a strong connection with his fellow countryman Cristiano Ronaldo.

Santorfo, eu também não mas é sempre bom ver Portugal lá! xD
Continua a faltar o Eusébio no entanto ...
